I was born in New Haven, CT, the city where I currently live and work. I am a graduate of Paier Collee of Art, class of 2006, where I received a BFA in illustration, magna cum laude, as well as an award for outstanding achievement in illustration. In addition to promoting myself as a freelance artist I have been developing several graphic novels in which I tackle both writing and illustration duties. In the course of my artistic development and education I have focused on the classical skills of draftsmanship and rendering th ehuman form. I work primarily in watercolor, but I am also in love with digital media and the versatility it allows my illustrations and graphic novels. I frequently combied both medias, but always with the focus on the hand rendered image.
